Kevin Lewis

Director of Tourism @ Greater Zion C&T

Kevin’s influence has helped transform Washington County from a quiet golf and retirement community into an exciting destination for adventure, sports and outdoor recreation. With his leadership, the Tourism Office won the bid to host the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship that will take place in September of 2021. The world championship will be the largest, most globally recognized event to ever happen in Southern Utah, bringing participants from over 100 different countries and infusing $25-million into the local economy.  Kevin is the recipient of multiple awards for creative advertising and public relations work, including development of the Greater Zion Tourism Brand. Despite the global travel downturn, efforts to adjust marketing tactics by the Greater Zion team have helped tourism prevail as one of the strongest contributors to the area’s economic success. Tourism continues to play a critical role in the economic vitality of our communities bringing more than $600-million in visitor spending to the area and over $730-million in economic output for county businesses each year.
