Maria Twitchell

Maria was born and raised in a little brick house on 300 West in Cedar City, Utah.  She attended Southern Utah University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communications & Marketing.  Following graduation, she held various marketing positions for the county tourism office and was promoted to Executive Director of Visit Cedar City · Brian Head in 2005.  Maria combines her love of travel, hiking, skiing, history, food and photography with her career and serves on many local and state boards and is a past president of the Utah Tourism Industry Association.  Maria also co-authored the book 40 Rules for Women in their 40’s. Maria is married to Jimmy and they are the proud parents of daughter Amanda. Maria and Jimmy have recently purchased her childhood home on 300 West and are in the process of restoring much of the charming bungalow’s original character
